Fix your job search in 4 steps
How to figure out what is wrong when you're not seeing results...
Most people who are frustrated with their job search don't know what's wrong.
Perhaps you find yourself in this category.
You’ve spent weeks (or months) making some changes and trying different things and yet, you can’t seem to get any traction.
If you feel lost and don’t know what to fix or work on, use my "FIVE" method to figure it out and then make the right changes.

F - Fit
If you are submitting lots of applications but are hearing crickets, you might not be the right FIT for those positions.
If you're targeting roles that interest you but ones where you don't match well with the required skills/experiences, you're going to struggle to see conversions.
Does this mean that you have to be a perfect fit just to apply? Of course not.
But if your resume can't at least demonstrate alignment with the most crucial aspects of the roles you want, the rejections will continue. Reconfigure your job targets to make sure they are realistic.
I - Image
Maybe you're qualified, but your profile (or IMAGE) isn't reflecting that.
Seek out neutral perspective on your resume, LI profile or cover letter (or all three) from mentors, colleagues or relevant professional connections. How do they interpret your experience?
Alternatively, consider hiring a professional to rework your resume profile to strengthen your image and ensure that it effectively demonstrates the skills you want it to.
V- Visibility
What good is a great resume if it only gets a 10-second skim during the selection process?
If your fit and image are optimized but you're still not landing interviews, it's likely that you're not creating enough visibility for yourself with the decision-makers.
If you're not networking, you're likely not getting noticed by the right people, and that great resume is being wasted. Reach out to people at the company and pitch yourself. Get connected to those close to the role. Be seen!
E - Execution
If you're getting interviews but not offers, your interview performance may need some work.
Identify which parts of the interview feel off or are not landing as well as you want them to. Start there, and aim to structure answers that depict your value as an applicant.
That's it! If you fix all four of these areas, you'll drastically improve your conversion rates and give yourself an opportunity to finally end your job search!
If you’re flat out sick of trying to do these types of things on your own, take me up on a free call to talk about your situation and what might be wrong.
By the way, all four of the areas of the FIVE method are services that I offer to job seekers. If you feel like you only need help in certain areas of your job search and not everything, you can even customize services to fit exactly what you need help with.
I’m here to help!
